Did what you should ask???? Designed my house that is. Carpet under the kitchen table??? Obviously a man with no children thought that was a good idea. Needless to say we own a steam cleaner and I got to spend the last hour of my life cleaning my carpet. Fun times... How did I get to lead such a glamorous life, cooking, cleaning, laundry, diapers. Oh the fun.
On a happy note the weather here is awesome!!!! The kids have really enjoyed being outside and so have I. However, I have noticed I'm the only Mom who drinks a beer at the nieghborhood park. Yes I feel like a looser but it is after 5:00. I think I should start using red solo cups, he he

Each afternoon will find me waiting for the 1700 playing of the National Athem to let me know it is a-okay for me to head to our beer fridge. We are way too glamorous for words.

ReplyDeleteI actually have very fond memories of being little and playing in the yard on summer afternoons while my mum sat on the deck with a glass of wine and a magazine - you've earned it by the end of the day! Glad the weather is nice!

ReplyDeleteCarpet in a dining room or kitchen? Definitely a harebrained idea. My friend had that and could NOT get it ripped out fast enough! (4 kids--enough said)
LOL...I use many red Solo cups when the children out gallivanting in our huge common area behind our home. I like Green Girl's suggestion though...

ReplyDeleteThat is retarded. A rug in the kitchen is a disaster. Kind of like when I chose a cream carpet for our bedroom. STOOOPID! I say have a mojito. At least it's fancy! LOL!
