Jon and Kate + 8

Anyone watch that show?? I'm addicted. I think it makes my life seem calm and normal and that makes me like it. Seeing thier craziness makes me feel not crazy. Anyways, if you did see it wow that house was HUGE. She better hire more housekeepers. All I could think was wow, they are making some bucks doing that show.

Also, random thought, I'm contemplating Ugg boots. Any thoughts, comments, recommendations?

  1. We just watched the show and couldn't believe the ranting and raving she does. It gets old! We decided she should have hired cleaners. What was with laying down the law that children are not allowed in their bedroom. I understand what she was getting at but really, isn't there a better way?

As for Uggs...I was totally indifferent. Thought they were a lot of money, I would never wear them, and kind of ridiculous. My sister surprised me with a pair for Christmas and I am in LOVE. As a Mom living in the Northeast I wear them with sweats and jeans and LOVE them. My feet are so toasty in them. They are supposed to be great all year round but I'm not sure I could tolerate them in warmer weather. I wear them with bear feet and the only time I was too hot was when I was traipsing around Ikea. They don't have a ton of support so I wouldn't wear them to do heavy duty walking and I do find the sizing of mine run a bit big.

    Keep us posted!

  2. I am in awe of her. This fall, when I was right in the middle of morning sickness, I would watch as I was eating breakfast and would feel so totally inadequate - I mean I could barely drag myself to a nice desk job and I don't even have kids yet! I would love for her to come and organize my life.

  3. I was watching for a while but it started stressing me out too much! Plus I don't like how Kate treats JOn. She's kinda browbeaterish. I loooooooove my uggs. I got the medium length purple ones but would do the dark brown or chestnut high ones if i had to do it over! They are heaven@!

  4. I enjoy that show as well. The two of them make me laugh. Did you check Kate out cleaning the fridge with a toothpick? Oh, and we want that house. And land.

As for Uggs...I don't have a pair, and I don't have a pair of Crocs either. My sis-in-law loves her Uggs, especially in winter.

  5. There's a blog about how Kate was not very nice to Aunt Jodi (her brother's wife) who used to take care of the kids a lot. They approached Jodi to pay her for her appearances and Kate had a cow. After reading all that stuff, I just couldn't watch it much anymore. And surprisingly, although her squirrel hair makes me crazy, I enjoy the mom on the Duggars much more. The children are so much better behaved and respectful. I want to make fun of them, but after watching a few episodes, I can't.

But Kate. That would be me on tv. People would hate me if a camera followed me around all day long.

  7. Oh i just came accross your blog (im loving it) and i just had to post a comment about the uggs. I LOVE them. They are an instituion over here. I wear mine all the time. the trick is to get a size a bit smaller than you normally wear cause they do stretch out.Ive had a pair for years.as soon as one starts to go i casually mention mothers day, birthday, christmas etc.

And i also love the duggars. Havent seen jon and kate.
